Weather Update: Scattered showers expected across most parishes today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — In the local forecast for today isolated showers are expected across sections of eastern parishes while elsewhere should be mainly sunny, the Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica has reported.
This afternoon should expect widely scattered showers across sections of most parishes, while tonight should be partly cloudy.
Meanwhile, there is a trough across Jamaica and the central Caribbean that is expected to linger until Saturday evening. Thereafter, a high pressure ridge will become the significant feature.
