Holland High lift ISSA basketball crown
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Holland High School won their first ISSA basketball title last week after they dethroned Mt Alvernia High with a 29-6 drubbing in the final of the Western Conference played at the Montego Bay Cricket Club in St James.

In the consolation play-off, Montego Bay High had their best finish, taking third place with a 38-10 victory over Muschett High.
Led by MVP Zhane Lawrence, Holland High were ruthless against Mt Alvernia, leading 10-2 after the first quarter, 13-4 at half-time and 21-4 at the end of the third-quarter.
Lawrence had a double-double 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Tatiana Fagan scored eight points, had 10 rebounds and 16 assists.
Bryanna Coleman scored 20 points in the third-place play-off as Montego Bay High salvaged their season after just failing to get to the final.
