Bernard takes on operational role at SVREL

Chairman of Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL), the promoter of local racing in the country, Michael Bernard, will be taking over operational responsibility of the company after May 11 until further notice.

This move by Bernard follows confirmation via a release from SVREL yesterday of the resignation of chief operating officer, Brando Hayden. Hayden handed in his resignation on Wednesday last with May 11 set as his last day in office at SVREL.

“Yesterday, Brando (Hayden) gave notice to SVREL that he would be resigning from the company. We have accepted the resignation, and his last day in office will be next week Friday, May 11,” the SVREL news release informed.

In the SVREL release, Bernard also thanked Hayden for his contribution to SVREL over the last year and a half and wished him every success in his future endeavours.
