Security forces find four more firearms in St James

KINGSTON, Jamaica — As the security forces continue operations under the state of emergency in St James, they reportedly found four more guns in Bogue Hill this afternoon, bringing to eight the number of firearms seized in the parish today.

The latest find includes a Mack-11 submachine gun, two Glock pistols and a .38 revolver. More than 40 assorted rounds of ammunition were also seized.

Earlier today, the lawmen reported that four M-16 rifles, four ballistic vests and a cache of ammunition were found in the said community.

When contacted, the police’ Corporate Communication (CCU) said it was unable to provide further information at this time.
