Weather Update: Expect fair to partly cloudy conditions this morning

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica has reported that weather conditions are expected to remain fair to partly cloudy across much of the island this morning.

By this afternoon, however, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are to affect north western sections of the island, while elsewhere will remain fair.

A high pressure ridge is expected to gradually build across the northern Caribbean late today into Thursday.

A trough is said to be just west of the island.
