Gas prices up $2.29, diesel up $3.10
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, May 17, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $129.83 and $132.67 per litre, respectively, up by $2.29 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $127.70 per litre following an increase of $3.10 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $3.48, and will be sold for $133.60 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $3.10 and will be sold for $110.73 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $46.69 per litre, down by $0.38 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $50.57 per litre after an increase of $0.09.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
