Weather Update: Scattered showers expected today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that isolated showers are expected this morning across eastern parishes, while elsewhere should be partly cloudy.
This afternoon should expect widely scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially across western parishes, while tonight should become partly cloudy.
There is currently a high pressure ridge across the northern Caribbean including Jamaica that is expected to linger until early next week.
Windy conditions are expected to persist across the island throughout the weekend.
