Memorial to Dad
Dear Editor,
Forever in my heart, forever in my mind,
You will never depart, despite the passage of time.
Though time and space have come between us now,
The hope of meeting you again will always brighten my brow
I believe you have been reunited with some members of the family again.
From here I can only imagine you all must be dancing in the rain;
Walking streets of gold, singing glory Hallelujah!
My toil here is not yet over; I must trust, obey and remain
But what a triumph that will be when at your doorstep I, too, shall remain.
