Patcha Blacks has high hopes for album
Reggae singer Patcha Blacks is looking forward to a bright future in music.
The Westmoreland-born artiste, who resides in Canada, is currently working on his debut album. The 12-track album, which is being produced by Tasjay Productions, is slated to be released in September.
“I’m very excited about this project; we’re recording some good songs; this album is going to be a winner,” he said.
Patcha Blacks believes that the album will help him to gain a firm foothold on the international music scene.
“We’re targeting the international market with this album; we want to make a big impact in places like Europe, the UK, Africa and Japan. We’re putting together an eclectic mix of reggae and dancehall tracks and I’m sure the fans are going to love it,” said Patcha Blacks.
He is currently promoting the first single off the set, Magnet to Steel, a groovy lovers rock track. It was produced by Tasjay Productions and released in May.
“My new single is doing well. It’s getting a lot of support from DJs all over the world. I’m getting a lot of positive feedback about it from my fans online as well,” he said.
Patcha Blacks is making preparations to shoot a video for Magnet to Steel.
“I’m putting everything in place to shoot the video for Magnetic to Steel. I plan to shoot it when I visit Jamaica in July,” he disclosed.
