Weather Update: Scattered showers expected this afternoon
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that scattered showers and widely scattered thunderstorms are expected across most parishes this afternoon as a tropical wave approaches the island.
This morning in the meantime should expect partly cloudy conditions across eastern parishes, while elsewhere should be mainly sunny.
Tonight should be partly cloudy.
The Met Office said afternoon showers are again expected on Sunday as well as an increase in wind speeds across much of island, particularly southern coastal areas early next week.
