Saint Int’l to host male model search

SAINT International will host its Male Model Search tomorrow at Eden Gardens Resort and Wellness Spa in St Andrew at 2:00 pm.

The search for new male model faces comes on the heels of the Saint trio of Romaine Dixon, Jonny Brown and Jermaine Downer doing phenomenally well for the European Spring/Summer 2019 men’s designer presentation season with their booked runway appearances for the world’s most prestigious brands including Prada, Dior, Valentino, Balmain, Zegna, Lanvin and Kenzo.

Saint International’s freckle-faced, 19-year-old star Romaine Dixon shone brightest, hailed by no less than Paris Vogue as “one of the hottest 10 male models”, and became the first Jamaican male model to walk for the Dior men’s label. He walked for six men’s designer collections, leading the closing models’ walk for Balmain, and appeared for Valentino, Christian Dada, Mihara Yasuhiro and Sean Suen. Meanwhile, Dixon’s Saint peer Jonny Brown walked for Prada, Zegna, Kenzo, Off-White, Roberto Cavalli and Li Ning between Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks. Not to be outdone, Saint model Jermaine Downer booked a walk down the Lanvin runway in Paris for the second time. He also had the distinct honour of opening the Sean Suen collection and also hit the catwalk for the influential OAMC label.

For Sunday’s Model Search, Saint is seeking its next generation of male model talent for the international fashion markets of London, Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Males need to be between the ages of 16 and 25, and must be a minimum of six feet. They are not required to have any previous modelling experience.
