Weather forecast: Rain in northern parishes this morning

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica has reported that a trough is currently across Jamaica and is expected to linger until Wednesday.

Rainfall is expected across some northern sections of the island while elsewhere is expected to be mainly sunny. 

Meanwhile, residents in western parishes should expect widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon.

Tonight should be mainly fair.
