Yello partners with Flow for regional advertising on cable TV
Digital advertising company Yello Media and leading telecommunications company, Flow , are partnering to offer regional exposure for local businesses via the Flow TV network.
Through a joint initiative, dubbed ‘Flow Upfront’, Yello has become the official reseller for Flow Sports & Flow 1 television channels, thereby enabling the company to offer clients an opportunity to purchase advertising solutions which showcase their brands during some of Flow’s most coveted television spots.
For those seeking to target an entertainment-driven audience, Flow has unveiled packages offering advertising spots during some of the most popular programming, including hot-ticket slots in leading CBS series Judge Judy and Dr Phil, as well as special inventory, like Celebrity Family Feud, American Idol and America’s Got Talent. Rates per spot for this package will be as low as US$20.00.
The announcement was made during a breakfast presentation hosted at the Spanish Court Hotel, New Kingston, on Monday.
Top local advertising executives and agencies were introduced to several attractive packages that will be offered as part of Flow Upfront.
Manchester United Legend Dwight Yorke was also a special guest at the event which had on offer exciting content like the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League, the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the IAAF Diamond League Track and Field as ‘crown jewels’ for advertisers on Flow Sports.
The initiative also follows a significant investment on the part of Flow to deepen rural penetration and its investment in highly sought-after sports content, such as Champions League, Premier League, Indian Premier League Cricket, Carifta Games, WWE, and many others, making Flow an even more viable option for advertisers seeking to tap into the audiences of these programmes.
Yello Media Director of Marketing, Tshani Jaja noted that what is really great about the partnership, is the tremendous value it provides for advertisers looking to reach a wider audience.
“We’ve also been able to further expand the great advertising options that we offer clients, with a diverse mix of traditional and online advertising solutions,” she said.
“Sports and entertainment are undoubtedly two of the segments most widely watched on television, and we are confident that these properties will deliver the return on investment for our clients. I believe the only problem we will have going forward is providing enough spots to match the demand,” she added.
Simon Mais, advertising sales manager at Flow, said the company has also become known for providing Jamaicans with the most sought-after and exclusive television content.
“The partnership with Yello Media allows us to extend the benefits of our varied content to advertisers, giving them a chance to showcase their brands in a space that has the highest level of visibility,” he said.
“From a technology perspective, Flow is also the market leader in TV innovation and value. We were the first to bring advanced cable services to Jamaica, and this further enhances the value for advertisers each time the programme slots are replayed, stored and viewed again,” he stated.
