Two men arrested following Hanover double murder
HANOVER, Jamaica — The police have arrested two men and named three ‘persons of interest’ following an ongoing gang feud which left a senior citizen and a teen dead at their home in Malcolm Heights, Hanover last night.
Reports from the Lucea police are that 91-year-old Doris Frame and 15-year-old Jesse Spence were attacked about 9:00 pm at their home by five armed men who opened gunfire at them. The police were alerted and on their arrival, Jessie and Frame were seen with multiple gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Following the attack, detectives assigned to the Hanover Police Division picked up the two men during an operation in Lucea about 2:00 am. However, their identities have been withheld pending further investigations.
The three men listed as ‘persons of interest’ are being asked to turn themselves in to the Lucea Police by 6:00 pm today.
They are: Howard McIntosh, otherwise called ‘Zill’; Nickoy McKenzie, otherwise called ‘Nick’; and Ricardo Bird, otherwise called ‘Whiteman’ and ‘Birdie’.
