On Friday, the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU) conferred multi-purpose rating certification upon 32 students who will be employed to EXMAR Ship Management, based in Belgium, as ‘able-bodied seamen’. The three-month programme, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information with training delivered by CMU, targeted at-risk youth from across the island.
