More traffic diversions along Constant Spring Road

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Works Agency (NWA) says that as road works continue along Constant Spring Road, St Andrew, it is set to begin installation of National Water Commission sewer lines and water pipelines in the section from Grants Pen to Shortwood roads tomorrow.

In order to facilitate these works motorists travelling from the direction of Mary Brown’s Corner will be diverted onto West Avenue, then onto Central Avenue, to exit onto Constant Spring Road in the vicinity of Telstar Cable Limited, the NWA said in a release.

The opposite will obtain for motorists travelling north towards Mary Brown’s Corner, while those using Grants Pen Road will only be able to make a right turn to get on to Constant Spring Road.

Acting Manager, Communication and Customer Services at NWA, Ramona Lawson, said the works will be completed within 12 days and traffic movement should return to normal on August 13.
