Tyria goes risqué route
Dancehall artiste Tyria takes the risqué route on her debut single Slow Motion. Blaq Kings Music Group/Renegade Muzik-produced the track. It was released last Friday.
Tyria said she is pleased with the response the song is receiving, and anticipates it becoming a hit.
“The feedback I’m getting is very good. I am getting a lot of positive messages on Instagram and Facebook from people all over the world about it. It’s a very good song and I’m working hard with my team to make it a hit,” she told the Jamaica Observer‘s weekly Splash.
Slow Motion is available on a major digital platforms.
The singjay, who hails from Montego Bay, is confident that she has what it takes to be the next big female dancehall star.
“I’m a very versatile artiste, and I know I can make it all way to the top of the game. I want to be the next big female act in dancehall music,” said Tyria.
She also expressed confidence in her team: “Nos Trac Productions is working very hard to launch my career overseas. Blaq Kings Music is also playing a major role in my development as an artiste.”
The artiste, whose given name is Tyria Irving, is from Lilliput in Rose Hall. She migrated to Antigua in 2015 where she completed her high school education at the Christian Faith Academy before returning to Jamaica in 2016 to pursue a career in music.
