Fort Clarence Beach to host Image Culture II

PARTY series ‘Image’ is set to unfold this evening at Fort Clarence Beach in Portmore, St Catherine.

Dubbed Culture II, the event promises to uphold the standard patrons have come to anticipate from promoters Portmore Society.

Portmore Society’s spokesperson, Romaine “Luigi” Brown shared what patrons should expect.

“They can expect another high-energy, fun-filled, well-executed event, with music from some of the top DJs and sound systems,” he said.

Rostered to provide the musical delights are ZJ Liquid, Di Unit Sound with Bada Bling, DJ Mario and Chromatic.

First held in 2013, Image has grown to become one of Portmore’s most popular events.

Brown shared how the event has developed.

“It has evolved in every way possible. We have seen a major increase in patronage since the first staging, and the level of execution has definitely been upgraded so our patrons can have a first class experience. We started out initially with approximately 200 patrons at the Constant Spring Golf Club poolside and now we are seeing over 2,000 patrons at each staging,” he said.

In previous years Image has been held at venues including Famous Nightclub, Boardwalk Beach, and Ultra Beach.

Originally held twice per year, Image is now held annually.

Brown shared what has kept the series going after five years.

“Definitely between a mixture of well-executed, incident free staging, different themes for the event, and the loyal support Portmore Society has garnered since 2007. We have also added some performances at times over the years that have always been well received. We’ve had artistes like Munga Honorable, Teflon, Tanso and Aidonia, just to name a few,” he added.
