Illegal firearm seized in Clarendon, two in custody

CLARENDON, Jamaica — The police are reporting that two persons are now in custody in connection with the seizure of one .357 Magnum pistol on Oyster Drive, Rocky Settlement, Clarendon yesterday.

According to reports, between the hours of 5:00 am and 7:30 am a team was conducting special operations in the area when a house was searched and the firearm was allegedly found wrapped in a black plastic bag, hidden inside a toilet tank.

A man and a woman was then taken into custody, however their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
