Brisk start to Observer’s Takes Style Out
KINGSTON, Jamaica —
Many of the participating stores in the annual shopping extravaganza sponsored by the Jamaica Observer – Takes Style Out – are already reporting an uptick in their sales.
When OBSERVER ONLINE visited some of these stores it was pretty obvious that it was not a normal day for these outlets.
In the centre of Half Way Tree in St Andrew, at the Fierce by Dre Fashion store, customers were lining up to enter to make their discount purchases from early this morning.
“Some of the things are really cheap. The discount prices are good,” one shopper told OBSERVER ONLINE while indicating that she was in line for over 40 minutes.
At the ATL store on Half Way Tree Road, customers were busy perusing the many appliances, air conditioners, smart televisions and other items with discounted prices.
