Planned power outage in sections of Ocho Rios tomorrow
ST ANN, Jamaica — The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) is informing customers that there will be service disruptions in sections of Ocho Rios and its environs on Sunday between the hours of 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.
According to JPS, this is to facilitate ongoing system upgrades to improve power delivery in the area.
The power company said the outage, which was previously scheduled for last Sunday, September 30, had to be postponed due to rainy weather.
Areas that will be affected include: section of Main Street from Milford Road to Island Village Mall, Pineapple Place, Tourwise to Hog Hole, Content Gardens, Eltham, Marvins Park, River Oaks, White River, Prospect, Upper White River, Crystal Ripple, Selbourne Gardens and all roads leading off.
