Police fatally shoot Clarendon man
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The police yesterday fatally shot a man during an alleged confrontation with the cops in his community of Reckford district, Clarendon.
According to the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) a police sergeant was also injured and a machete seized during the incident which reportedly took place about 11:20 am.
The dead man has been identified as 30-year-old Calvin Eubanks.
The matter has been reported to the Inspectorate of Constabulary (IOC) and the Independent Commission of Investigations, the CCU said.
