Lawrence Lewis Lovin’

Tuesday Social

“This is how you throw a wedding!” remarked a guest alighting a shuttle which brought guests to the Admiral’s Mountain Great House in Cooper’s Hill to witness medical doctor and Miss Jamaica World 2006 Sara Grace Lawrence wed Jamaica Defence Force military pilot Major Noel Auburndale Cuthbert Lewis on Saturday, December 29. Earthly intercession and divine intervention prevented a downpour, thus allowing the over 200 guests to witness the spectacular ceremony uninterrupted.

The bride was resplendent in a flattering J Del Olmo sweetheart neckline gown with beaded shoulder straps. The groom in #1 ceremonial dress looked dashing. Seated on gold Chiavari chairs the guests looked upwards from the lawns toward the historic great house’s balcony where Reverend Dr Stephen Jennings officiated. The venue adorned with white hydrangea and roses by New Levels Decor allowed the fairy-tale feel of the wedding to come full circle.

After vows were exchanged, guests enjoyed cocktails and oysters while the bridal party took photos in the mesmeric back garden of the property. The elegant and exquisite affair was befitting an officer and a queen.
