Esther Sings about love
Growing up in St Lucia, Esther Sings was influenced by different genres of music, but reggae holds a special place. She is currently promoting three songs: Love me Up, Do My Best and Cease Fire.
The New York-based artiste has worked recently with producer Kerry Williams of African Voice Productions. Esther wrote the aforementioned songs.
“I have been singing since I was a child. My father, who also sang, had some influence in my decision to pursue music as a career. I decided that the time is now,” Esther explained.
Taj Weekes, Natty Conquerer and Sylvester “Itoobaa” Peter are some of the popular reggae acts from St Lucia, which is more known for calypso and soca. Esther Sings says her songs reflect her outlook on life.
“My songs tackle matters of the heart. I love reggae music and I place more emphasis on lovers’ rock. I am just thrilled to be able to share with the world the love that’s inside of me,” she said.
