Multi Million rises

Even though he has performed on shows in rural Jamaica for several years, singjay Multi Million never recorded professionally until last year when he did Running Through my Mind , a song produced by Jah Stranjah’s Jah Mek Yah label.

Running Through my Mind is scheduled for release today, and Multi Million is upbeat about its prospects.

“I have been performing all over Clarendon and other parishes for years. The opportunity to record a song professionally came when I made the link with Jah Stranjah and I recorded at the Suplenus recording studio. I hope that the support will be given when the song is released,” he said.

Born Ottis March, the 38-year-old artiste is from Arthur’s Seat, Clarendon. Multi Million has made a name in his home parish and competed in the Tastee Talent Contest.

“My music is about positivity, love and happiness. That is what the world needs right now,” he said.

Multi Million has his eyes on music’s biggest prize.

“I want to win a Grammy and to work with some well known producers.”
