Police in Rae Town find rifle in plastic bag

KINGSTON, Jamaica — An M1 Grand 30 calibre rifle was found wrapped in a plastic bag by a team of police officers in Rae Town in East Kingston last night.

No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.

Reports are that lawmen were in the area on an operation about 11:55 pm when they searched a gully bank and found the weapon.
