God will have to deal with the road hogs

Let us take note of this very important statement: “We are concerned about road fatalities. The World Health Organization has defined the period 2011-2020 as the Decade of Action for Road Safety, officially proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 2010,” said executive director of the National Road Safety Council (NRSC) Paula Fletcher.
She along with other Jamaicans across the length and breadth of the nation are very concerned about the way in which so many people have been dying on our roads.
What can be more foolish, more senseless, and more heart-rending than to look on as motorists seem to be deliberately committing suicide, and taking unsuspecting bystanders with them, on our roads?
The offenders refuse to obey road signs and traffic laws and drive recklessly and carelessly every day, resulting in hundreds, thousands even, of lives being lost over the years.
Some road hogs continue to drive as though they have no concerns for other road users or at speeds as if they are in a racing competition. This is especially the case when there are no police officers around.
So, what we need to do is to take a national time out and pray to He sincerely that God will speak to the hearts of the “unseen road hogs” (unseen by the police) who are wreaking havoc on the streets of Jamaica by their bad road manners and dirty driving habits. God may have to deal with the road monsters severely. Yes, only God can do something drastic to theses hogs, because it’s difficult for the cops and NRSC to get around to them everywhere.
