Curfew imposed in sections of Salt Spring, St James
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A curfew has been imposed in sections of Salt Spring, St James. The curfew, which was put in place following the expiration of the state of public emergency in the parish on January 31, began at 6:00 pm yesterday and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm Tuesday.
The boundaries are as follows:
NORTH: Along Montego Hills from the intersection with Salt Spring Road (Fada Shop) to Meggie Top;
EAST: Along Meggie Top from Montego Hills to Cornwall Courts vicinity Green Pond High School;
SOUTH: Along Cornwall Courts from Green Pond High School to Salt Spring Road;
WEST: Along Salt Spring Road from Cornwall Courts to Fada Shop at the intersection with Montego Hills.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the ground commander.
