Gas prices up $2.82, diesel up $2.73
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, February 7, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $119.56 and $122.40 per litre, respectively, up by $2.82 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $130.07 per litre following an increase of $2.73 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is also up by $2.58, and will be sold for $133.65 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $2.77 and will be sold for $109.41 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $44.25 per litre, up by $1.50 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $53.44 per litre after an increase of $2.43.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices
