Taxi drivers protest after disappearance of colleague
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Taxi operators who ply the Jones Town to downtown Kingston route this morning withdrew their service to protest the disappearance of their colleague.
Kenneth Duncan, 51, otherwise called ‘ Twinnie’, of Crooks Street, Kingston 12 has been missing since last Thursday.
He is of dark complexion, stout build and is about 162 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) tall.
Duncan was last seen about 9:00 pm Thursday at the Kingston Public Hopsital wearing a khaki pants, a white T-shirt and a pair of black slippers.
The protesting taxi operators parked their vehicles along Collie Smith Drive in Kingston, calling for action from the police.

The taxi drivers are now planning to contribute $5000 each towards a $100,000 reward for information on their colleague.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Kenneth Duncan is being asked to contact the Admiral Town police at (876) 922-6243 , police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
