Williams produces Knack Outt songs
Since its launch in 2017, Knack Outt Productions has worked mostly with fresh talent. Label boss, Dalton Williams, said producers should provide more opportunities for emerging artistes.
Last year, Knack Outt Productions scored a massive hit with Teejay’s Up Top Boss, a song featured on the Progress rhythm.
“I’m always willing to work with new artistes, and that has been my approach from day one. I am happy that I recognised Teejay’s talent from early and approached him to record on the Progress rhythm. The song that he did for my label became one of the biggest hits last year, and it is still popular now. If I wasn’t looking out for young talent, I might have never produced Up Top Boss,” said Williams.
The Progress was released through Zojak World Wide. It featured songs by several emerging acts including Navino with Wine Fi Mi, Clymaxx who did Figure Me Out, JDon Heights ( Push Back), RP N’Trapraneur’s Give Thanks, I Voltage with Money, and Maestro Don’s My Season.
The 50-year-old Williams is a trained commercial pilot. Originally from Franklyn Town in east Kingston, he is currently working on a follow-up to the Progress called the Dolla Sign rhythm which he intends to release this month.
