Jamaica Broilers signs agreement with overseas carrier
MEMBERS of the Jamaica Broilers Group (JBG) and the United Bulk Carriers (UBC) came together for the signing of a Grain Charter Agreement at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel on Thursday, February 7, 2019.
UBC is known as one of the most versatile carrier fleets in the world and has transported grain from the USA for JBG. The two companies have had a longstanding relationship and the agreement signals a commitment to continue their partnership towards enhancing local industry and production.
Jamaica Broilers is the largest, vertically integrated poultry company in the Caribbean and utilises the imported grain in the production of animal feeds in both its Jamaica and Haiti operations.
