Petrojam must not be a 9-day wonder
Dear Editor,
It seems that each day we receive added information with regard to the big pay out of Petrojam to its former managers. We recently learnt one payment was higher than previously thought, even though the person scored 45 per cent on appraisal.
Still, Petrojam cannot account for several thousand barrels of oil that have either evaporated, were stolen, or disappeared.
Petrojam seems to be the new gold mine for unqualified Jamaicans and family members.
We, as a country, tend to easily forget issues that have plagued our society and reduce them to nine-day wonders. Many questions have remained unanswered. I believe that now is the time that we demand answers.
Enough is enough; no more patty shop, no more nine-day wonders, no more duppy stories! Now is the time for full disclosure. We need answers!
