Scorpions’ debutant Fraser rocks Jaguars
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Debutant Akim Fraser claimed three wickets for Jamaica Scorpions as Guyana Jaguars reached 74-3 at lunch time on day one of the eighth-round West Indies four-day cricket match at Sabina Park.

The Jaguars left-handers Vishaul Singh and Leon Johnson are not out on 18 and 15, respectively.
Earlier, the Scorpions won the toss and put the Jaguars to bat first in sunny conditions on a grass-covered surface.
The off-spinner Fraser, given an opportunity after training with the Scorpions squad all season, dismissed the left-handed trio of Chandrapaul Hemraj (23), Sherfane Rutherford (zero) and Tagenarine Chanderpaul (15) to start his first-class career with a bang.
