St Mary woman suspected of suicide; 3-y-o son hospitalised

ST MARY, Jamaica — Crime scene investigators are currently at the home of a woman from Orange Field in Castleton, St Mary who is believed to have committed suicide shortly before noon.

According to sources, the body of the 30-year-old woman was found by neighbours about 11:00 am. She is believed to have ingested a corrosive substance and gave some to her three-year-old son as well.

The boy has been admitted at hospital in serious condition.
