Curfew imposed in Trench Town and Admiral Town
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have imposed a curfew in Trench Town and Admiral Town in Kingston.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm Friday evening and will continue until 6:00 pm today.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
North along Gem Road from Maxfield Avenue to Greenwich Street;
East along Greenwich Street from Gem Road onto Eight Street continuing along Harris Street and Raphael Avenue;
South along Eight Street, Harris Street and Raphael Avenue from Greenwich Street to Maxfield Avenue; and,
West along Maxfield Avenue from the southern boundary to Gem Road.
During the hours of the curfew, all individuals within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander, the police cautioned.
