MoBay City FC hunt 3rd place in Sandals Major League
MONTEGO BAY, St James — MoBay City FC could go into the top three in Zone Two of the St James Football Association Sandals Resorts International Major League today when they take on winless Marl Road FC in a return-round game at the UDC Field, set to start at 3:30 pm.
MoBay City FC are on seven points from their seven games and next to last in the points table, better than only Marl Road FC, who are on four points. However, a win today would see them move two points behind second-place Cambridge FC.
The Leacroft Lettman-coached MoBay City FC have picked up just three points from their last five games and had rallied to earn a 4-4 draw against Marl Road in the first round.
On Monday, Heights FC took over the lead in Zone Two after beating Bogue FC 2-1 at the UDC Field after drawing 1-1 in the first round.
Romario Dent gave Heights FC the lead after just 15 minutes and they led until the 63rd minute when Sanjay Patterson equalised for Bogue FC.
Matthew Dawkins got the winner for Heights FC in the 70th minute, their third victory in a row.
