British man held with ganja at Sangster airport — police
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A British man was arrested and charged on Tuesday in connection with the seizure of three pounds of ganja at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.
He has been identified as 60-year-old Glenton Morrison, a painter of a London address in England.
The ganja, which the police said was concealed on Morrison’s body, was found during security checks after he checked-in to board a departing flight to London, England.
The drug has an estimated street value of $25,000.
Morrison was charged with possession of ganja, dealing in ganja and taking steps preparatory to export ganja.
He is scheduled to appear in the St James Parish Court on Friday.
