#PortlandEasternVotes: Daryl Vaz makes his mark
PORTLAND, Jamaica — Portland Western Member of Parliament Daryl Vaz cast his ballot at Drapers All Age School this morning as voting continued in the Portland Eastern by-election being contested by his wife, Ann-Marie Vaz for the Jamaica Labour Party (JPL), and the People’s National Party’s (PNP’s) Damion Crawford.
Prior to voting, Daryl Vaz visited the Fairy Hill Primary polling station accompanied by the JLP’s Matthew Samuda.
The polling stations opened at 7:00 am and will close at 5:00 pm.
The Electoral Office of Jamaica says 36,315 electors are eligible to vote in today’s election.
