Strategy shift: Read the Bible daily, page by page
Dear Editor,
The Bible is recommended reading, page by page, by an infamous lyricist. It is exhorted that deep penetrating analysis be ascertained as often as possible as well as learning by memory every curve of each verse and chapter.
Rev Dr William Watty, a spiritual mentor, advised reading the newspaper each morning co-joining with the Bible.
The Jamaican audience is competitive and demanding but international appeal outreach will not only improve self-image but also enhance financial subsistence. A combination of practical projects could lead to international acclaim. The late Robert Nesta Marley deployed this strategy to great success. The word of God could use the same strategy.
The higher the stakes the better the possible outcomes. If we aim for the skies we have the best possibility of achieving our goals. When we realise that the “world” does not revolve around us, we have the option to become the sun.
Serious Bible study is recommended for those engaging in ministry service. God does not discriminate, and even the most talented musician will have to hang up the harp.
In the wake of this knowledge, God’s servants should not want that hellfire under their tails, and thus the massive incentive to hold their positions, choosing instead to bow at God’s throne.
Read the Bible to stay on the path.
