BLAK Ryno is in stable condition in a New York hospital following a motor vehicle involving the dancehall deejay early Wednesday morning.

“He’s recovering. He came out a surgery about 1:00 pm. He’s in stable condition,” a member of the deejay’s inner circle told the Jamaica Observer last night. “He’s not dead.”

The source, who requested anonymity, was unable to say which hospital the deejay was admitted or details about the accident.

“I spoke to him and me neva even did ask that. But I’m planning to see him tomorrow,” said the source.

This is not the first time Blak Ryno (given name Romaine Anderson) is involved in a motor vehicle accident.

In November 2014, he was travelling along Molynes Road in Kingston, when his motorcycle crashed. He received treatment at the Andrews Memorial Hospital and was later released.

A former member of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire, Blak Ryno migrated to the United States in 2015. Kartel (given name Adidja Palmer) is currently serving a life sentence for murder.

Blak Ryno is known for songs including Bike Back, Badmind, and Mi Lef.
