Trough to bring afternoon rain — Met Service
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica says a trough across the central Caribbean, including Jamaica, is expected to influence weather conditions across the island this afternoon into the evening.
Projections are for periods of showers and thunderstorms, which may be heavy at times, to affect sections of all parishes today.
Met service urged fishers and other marine operators to exercise caution as sea conditions will deteriorate in the vicinity of the showers and thunderstorms.
The trough is expected remain across the region until Tuesday.
