Raising a toast to Toast
WITH the rise in all-inclusive breakfast and brunch parties, conceptualisers of Toast are hoping to break new ground in Old Harbour, St Catherine.
“We decided to stage this because we needed money to go towards school fee and also to bring this type of brunch party to Old Harbour for the first time,” co-promoter Javoan Davy told the Jamaica Observer.
It is scheduled to be held at Club Genius tomorrow.
The 19-year-old Denbigh High School student, who doubles as brand ambassador for the online store 24Karrat Klothing (the entity responsible for staging Toast), said he is hoping to show patrons that his group is not one-dimensional.
“We want to show versatility of 24Karrat Klothing and to show that we are not just about clothing but also about satisfaction of our patrons, and for them to enjoy an all-inclusive brunch party,” said Davy.
Entertainment will be provided by Explosive Ent, DJ Gallas, DJ Richie Sarge, and Team Shells.
Davy, who said he aspires to become an entrepreneur, is pleased with ticket sales.
