Catherine Hall All-stars seek back-to-back wins in WBA Elite League
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Fresh from their upset win over defending champions Catherine Hall All-stars on Tuesday, Sav-Elite Titans will be going for back-to-back wins as they end their regular season schedule against Granville Jaguars in the Western Basketball Association Elite League at the Montego Bay Cricket Club today, starting at 7:00 pm.
Sav-Elite Titans won for only the second time on Tuesday, holding off the short-handed All-Stars (60-55) and delivering a severe dent to the champions’ hopes of a place in the semi-finals.
The loss, which was Catherine Hall’s third straight, left them on nine points with one game to go on Saturday against fourth-placed Granville Jaguars, who are also on nine points, but with a game in hand.
Lucea Flames are also on nine points, but have played all their games.
Falmouth Saints are at the top of the standings with 12 points, followed by Cricket Club Knights on 11 with a game to go, and Boys Club Warriors on 10, also with a game to go.
