The Republic of Ghana President to visit Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica — His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, of the Republic of Ghana will be visiting Jamaica on Saturday (June 15) for a two-day official working visit.
The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) said Prime Minister Andrew Holness is expected to hold talks with Akufo-Addo at Jamaica House in the afternoon following which the two leaders will give a statement to the media.
Akufo-Addo is expected to also engage in a number of activities on Saturday including a tour of Seville Great House and Heritage Park in St Ann.
On Sunday, the Ghanaian President will meet with the leadership of the University of the West Indies and then give a floral tribute at the shrine of National Hero, Marcus Garvey.
