Four hospitalised after seven-vehicle crash in St Andrew
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — At least four people were rushed to hospital this morning after a seven-vehicle smash up on Washington Boulevard near its intersection with Molynes Road in St Andrew.
Initial reports are that a motorist was test driving a 2013 BMW that was on sale when he lost control of the vehicle and careened into a number of vehicles which were waiting at the traffic light.
All seven vehicles were damaged with some unable to be driven after the smash up.
A policeman on the scene told the OBSERVER ONLINE that he had taken one seriously injured woman to hospital, while passing motorists took others.
According to the cop, initial reports suggest that three other people were taken to hospital but that number could climb.
More information later.
