Four to be sentenced today for outstanding traffic tickets
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Four men are to be sentenced today in the Corporate Area Traffic Court, for having more than 2000 outstanding tickets.
The police said three warrants were issued for 59-year-old Errol Lyle who has 446 outstanding tickets, while six warrants were issued for Renford James who accumulated 480 tickets.
Easton Codner and Jeffery Phipps have 713 and 451 outstanding tickets, respectively.
The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force say they remain committed to detecting and prosecuting every individual who breaches the Road Traffic Act.
The police is also urging members of the public to obey all road codes.
