St James FA AGM set for next month
MONTEGO BAY, St James- The annual general meeting (AGM) and Voting Congress of the St James Football Association (FA) is to be held on Monday, November 4th at Corinaldi Avenue Primary School in Montego Bay; it was announced earlier this week.
In accordance with the laws governing elections, nominations for positions on the executive “must be e-mailed or sent in a sealed and marked envelope” on or before next Monday, October 14, seven days after the notice of the meeting, a release from the St James FA said.
Nominations for the top positions — president, 1st and 2nd vice-president, general secretary, deputy general secretary and treasurer — must be done by Monday, as only nominations for the five council members will be accepted from the floor on November 4, the release also stated.
All affiliates of the St James FA are entitled to two votes and the names of the delegates must be submitted to the FA on or before October 20th.
