D’Angel ignores the ‘haters’: Deejay insists she will be releasing a ‘banger’
Dancehall artiste D’Angel recently announced to her
fans on Instagram that she will be releasing a track that might turn out to be
her biggest hit to date.
“A next female banger. Me a come bomb up di whole
place. Yuh neva know I don’t play. A next female banger. Trust and believe I
put dis on everything,” she said while in the recording booth with headphones
on.
But some social media users didn’t seem convinced.
“She needs a writer. Just singing about people badminding
her, cut and clear… I thought Decent Wine was a hit, but no, it wasn’t,”
the person said.
Another more humorous person said: “People don’t worry or get alarmed when she say banger. She meant the old-time Nokia dem.”
However, D’Angel ignored the naysayers. Instead, she congratulated herself on the success of No Worries, a collaboration with dancehall artiste Spice. Despite being at odds with Spice, D’Angel said that she is grateful for the one million views the song has received on YouTube.
“Thanks to the fans who never gave up, follow or
listened to crap! Mi still a win. God A Work #noworries Let’s Celebrate. Lots more
coming,” she said.
