Blonde hair, I do care: Why I became a blondie

The first

time I went through the process of changing the colour of my hair was 2016. I

remember always telling my mom that I wanted to colour my hair, but I never had

a reason until now, 2019.

I recently

highlighted most of my hair to different shades of blonde with brown streaks to

complement it. The colours now range from platinum blonde to honey brown – the perfect

combination.

Here are my

personal reasons for becoming a blondie:

I believe that in the media industry, where creativity should blossom like a wildflower, we should always try to stand out – try to be unique and different in the content I create. The aim is to a make a statement that says: “Hey, I am here and ready to take on any task handed to me.”

I wanted to make a fashion statement at school and to show a certain level of fierceness that isn’t the norm. So, to go blonde is a bold choice.

Most of all, I get satisfaction from colouring my

hair. Once you look good, you will definitely start to feel good.

Colouring my hair is a new look that is loved by everyone I have encountered. Generally, once you are part of a style or fashion look that is trending, you get acceptance from different social groups.
